Lukman Otunuga joined ForexTime (FXTM) as a Research Analyst in July 2015. A keen follower of macroeconomic events, with a strong professional and academic background in finance, Lukman is well versed in the factors affecting the currency and commodity markets.
Lukman provides in-depth analysis on the global currency and commodity markets and is often quoted by leading international media outlets such as the Associated Press (AP), BBC, CNBC, CNN, Marketwatch, NASDAQ, The Telegraph and The Guardian.
As part of his role at FXTM, Lukman is responsible for the Market Update videos that can be found on social media, and contributes to the FXTM Trading Signals. He has also held educational seminars across the globe, covering regions throughout Europe, Asia and the Middle East, and specialises on the Indonesian and Nigerian economy.
Lukman holds a BSc (hons) degree in Economics from the University of Essex, UK and an MSc in Finance from London School of Business and Finance. Lukman previously spent two years as a Research Analyst with international currency broker, FXCM.
